You are right that’s 100% what it means! The amulets red, the curse is fulfilled, now other people can touch it and not get sucked in. Don’t ask why amors could hold it without being trapped. Probably she has an anti-curse token in her pocket. Why does she have this amulet with her. What was she planning to DO with it??
