Yes I actually based a lot of Amors’s magic and character around the themes of Vanitas still lives, like the dutch ones from the 18th century, that have a lot of skulls and vases of flowers in them. It’s a school of art that I’ve just always liked, it’s all about awareness of mortality, and I thought it would be cool if a necromancer had that aesthetic. Which is why I work in a couple still lives here and there.
