Now there's a modest cast in Death and the Maiden, featuring maybe 6-7 characters you could call important. BOSS is not one of them. I did not spend time on the character design for BOSS. Instead, I though, what if BOSS was Mario? What if he looked like Mario? And his name was BOSS?
