There are two pages left in part 1. Normally I would post two pages this week, but I'm going to post just the one page this week and then the last two pages next week, because I think they are better together.
Posting this is bittersweet, I love this page and I'm excited to share it but it's sad that part 1 is almost over!!
I will be taking a hiatus once part 1 is fully posted. I'll share some details about the hiatus later this month, but essentially I will be resting and re-working part 2!

The colors feel so symbolic and foreshadowy here but I feel like I’m still missing what it all means. I’m going to be thinking about it a lot though. Hopefully the answers will come in part 2! I mean, I get the gist of it. Those girls were right. Necromancy is dangerous. It has a cost. She’s finally having to face that fact. I’m sure too its because she keeps failing. I just want to give her a hug.

Part 2 has a little more info! All you need to know at this point is “it’s going bad”, and you clearly got that haha. These pages are more of a teaser for part 2 than anything else.

I LOVE the use of white in these panels. It’s stark, and shocking, and she’s SHOCKED! It’s great.

ah THANK YOU! I wanted to show how the shock kind of removes her from her surroundings. It’s that kind of freak out. I’m so glad it came through!

WHOA. what a great departure from the rest of the comic’s coloring!! it really brings out the horror she’s feeling
god, will we get to see what happened in that room after the failed necromancy?

Now I am curious about the grandma. Amors more or less shouldve know what happened to her but chose to ignore it maybe. I get the sense she knew something like this was going to happen. But ignored it too.

Hmm yes seems like maybe she should have paid more attention to the signs and it wouldn’t have HURT her to take her friend’s advice seriously….
